I have always been a "maker" and in the last 10 years, I have been sculpting in wood, metal, concrete, and even ice.  Classes in drawing, sculpture, woodturning, welding, and ice carving have given me the foundation to create objects suitable to the location.

With wood I enjoy trying to achieve the perfect form to create wooden vessels that engage the viewer. I see my work functioning as a key visual point within a room, inviting a look and a touch. 

The need for a more durable outdoor medium led to work in painted and powder-coated steel and architectural grade acrylic-concrete mixtures with bronze or steel added to facilitate the development of a patina.

Besides winning awards in local art shows, my work is also in private collections in California, Europe, and Japan.
